Line Jump is a challenging climbing platformer where you create a line to gain a second jump by touching the line.

Create a line adjust the direction and force the longer the line, the stronger your jump will be, be careful a strong jump could also be your downfall! Don't worry, the more you practice, the easier it will be to calculate your jumps with lines.

ok so
I am after 3... levels.
Idea is neat, graphics and music is really welcoming, but that line jump.

Its really annoying sometimes, like whenever I start from bottom or top, it should have the same effect, but it doesn't. I guess it would need huge rebuild to jump system to fix it... Also when I have straight line that is purely horizontal, it should lunch me up, just up, no other direction, just up but it lunches me for example to the left. And that is annoying, like I love challenges, but challenges that have always have the same rules, and challenges which gives expected results.

Also movement sometimes bugs when near the wall, that's probably thanks to unity colliders and physics and it isn't bad, it just exist.

Also gravity is sometimes smaller after coming from line, or colliding with some slope, then after normal jump.

And idk if intended, but I can place as many lines as I want to, it creates funny effects sometimes xd

Nonetheless great job, I am not a big game dev myself so I know that those things may be hard and annoying, and that this comment may annoy you, but I want to give constructive criticism, cause it helps a lot.

Good luck

First of all thank you for playing my game, the line system is working as intended but the problem is I didn’t made a good tutorial in how to use the line so that’s my bad I am currently working on a better one, the collider detection is also being reworked and I will have to check that multiple line bug.

I agree constructive criticism is very helpful, at the end making the best game I can is my goal. Happy Holidays.

Oke, wish ya good luck, happy holidays!
